No prior lifeguarding experience? No problem! We provide comprehensive training, including First-Aid, CPR, and lifeguard certifications, to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed for the job. You'll receive expert guidance and support to become a confident and competent lifeguard.

The summer season is fast approaching, starting from Memorial Day (May 29th, 2023) until Labor Day (September 4th, 2023). This makes it an ideal opportunity for high school and college students seeking summer employment. With flexible schedules, you can balance work and leisure during your well-deserved break.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain constant surveillance of the swimming areas to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all patrons.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations, promoting a respectful and secure environment for swimmers.
• Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies, providing first aid, CPR, or other life-saving measures when necessary.
• Proactively identify and address any potential safety hazards within the facility.
• Foster positive relationships with patrons by offering exceptional customer service and assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with fellow lifeguards and staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient teamwork.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of the pool area.

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 15 years to apply.
• Strong swimming skills and the ability to swim continuously for a specified distance (determined by facility requirements).
• Demonstrated ability to perform water rescues, including retrieving submerged objects and providing assistance to distressed swimmers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patrons and team members.
• Physical fitness and stamina to fulfill the demands of the position.
